This striking scarf takes inspiration from a Louise Nevelson piece entitled, Orfeo-Two Banners, 1984, that is part of the Farnsworth Art Museum’s permanent collection.

Orfeo-Two Banners depicts two chairs and silkscreened banners that are among the few surviving parts of Nevelson’s monumental stage design for the St. Louis Opera Theatre’s 1984 production of Christoph Willibald von Gluck’s 1762 opera, ‘Orfeo and Eurydice’.
